This idea popped up into my head the other night, and I would love to get some feedback from the group on it.

A simple question really. Instead of Friday, would the group prefer gaming on Saturday night instead?

Nothing is set in stone, and by no means is it guaranteed that this will happen. I'm just looking to gauge some interest, hopefully increase the number of people coming out to the barn from where it's at now.

So go ahead and vote. Post your thoughts/concerns. Ask questions about it. I value everyone's input and would like to see if this would make gaming easier for people, or more difficult.

So when Brian brought this up at the Barn on Friday I instantly said 'Yes, Saturdays would be awesome' or some such, because I don't have to worry about being to work at 5:00 on Sundays. After discsussing it with the better half though, I don't think I would be able to make it out to as many Saturdays as I currently do Fridays. So I voted no to Saturdays.

Better to game on Fridays and be tired at work then to not game at all!

Thanks Eric. I'm glad you posted a reason why Saturdays wouldn't work.

For those who did vote No for Saturday, is it possible to post the reason why? It's not required by any means, but I'm curious as to what are some of the items that prevent people from coming out to the Barn to game. Work, relationships, schools, etc...

The other possibility that may arise if we do get a somewhat 50/50 split is maybe to do 1 Saturday gaming a month. Possibly the weekends that Jeff and Cristina go out of town, we could do something that Saturday instead of Friday night. I know there's some people who just can never make a Friday evening, and I'd like to find ways to give them the possibility of coming out to get a few games in, even if it is only once a month.

I don't like the Saturday idea. Friday night is pretty much my only free night to myself for war gaming and I have to get up early on Sunday mornings. Staying up till 1:20am is not exactly the best idea when I have to wake up 6 hours later.

Personally...Saturdays are my "go out" night where I always make plans to chill with friends...I just haven't been by in the past few weeks because..."tournament exhaustion" and my exams being spread out over two weeks...

The reason why I voted no ( tho I've haven't come to the barn yet). Cause on Saturdays at meijers is when we switch out old AD with new AD and EVERYONE is scheduled to work that day, no ifs or buts about it lol
