The Battle Barn

Hi all,

My name's Alex Repeck and I've been playing for 8 years now. I've been playing space wolves that whole time (with a pretty large guard army as backup).

I've recently started a small group of guys that get together and play at Cobblestone Hobbies (in Holland) every Saturday from noon till 5. I know alot of the guys that play at the barn also use to play at Cobblestone and Bob would like to see alot of those old faces showing up more often!

Brian here. Pretty sure I met you out at Cobblestone a few weeks ago. It's really great to see a group of people playing there again. Bob has a great new store that deserves a good player base. I certainly plan on heading out there on occasion when I have a spare Saturday afternoon. I'm sure I can drag a few guys out as well now and then. Feel free to drop by The Barn on Friday nights that you may have free. Keep us updated on any events that you guys run out there as well. I'll do the same for anything Barn related that we do here in Grand Rapids.

hi my name is joe. im just getting back into 40k this summer. starting a new necron army. where do i get general information about thw club? like location days you guys play 40k and such. moving to gr this summer from big rapids where there is no 40k...

also if anyone could share where in gr do people play 40k that would be awesome!

Well now that your logged in there is another tab on the forum above new applicants. As far as when we open gaming nights and time you can click on the calendar near the top right hand side of the site.

Welcome Joe! Like mimdr said you can click on the calendar link to find out what nights we are gaming. It's most Friday nights, but we do skip the occasional night or move it to Saturdays once in awhile, so it's always best to double check.

To find out how to get to the barn, there is a Barn Location post somewhere near the top of the forums.

Also, if you are looking for some gaming that's a bit closer to Big Rapids until you move to GR, there are a few of us that meet up Saturday morning/afternoons at Alpha Omega Coffee and Games in Cedar Springs. It's still a bit of a drive, but not nearly as bad as driving out to GR.

Hi all. I'm Jason. Im a warmachine/hordes player and happened to stumble on your site. I'm not sure if people are playing warmachines on a weekly basis at the barn but I'll hopefully be able to come out in the next two weeks.

To the best of my recollection there has been a warmachines game or two every week I've been out at the barn this month at least..

There's 2 people at the Barn pretty much every week with 35pt armies. 2 others there almost every week with battle boxes, and another that drops by most weeks. Suffice to say, Warmachine is certainly alive and well at the Barn.

Hello, my name is Trevor and I just moved to the area a couple months ago. I've been playing 40k for about 8 months and have been looking for a place to start playing again since I got here. I have about 1700 points of nids and a couple necron models.

The address for the Barn is located in the Barn Location & Information forum. Barn opens at 7pm most Friday nights, make sure to check the calender, including tonight.

Then its simply show up, introduce yourself and ask someone to play a game.

Hi there, I heard about you guys through Ryder's & definitely would love to join up for games sometime.
I'm so excited to find out there is a Battle Barn nearby because I usually only play when I visit my boyfriend in Tennessee.

I'm Katie & I play 40k orks, one day soonish probably eldar.
I know nothing about Warmachine, but the combat seems uber efficient & fun, so I'd love to learn.
