Ok, so its not really much of a challenge, but I thought it might get a little more attention that way.

Anyhow, as some of you may already know I like to make the occasional video battle report. I really haven't done much with this in quite some time and so far all of them have been against my buddy Mark. Now that Adepticon has come and gone I would like to get back to making them, and would like to expand to a wider variety of opponents. So I am putting it out there.

For anyone interested there would be a couple of requirements.

First off, since I am going to be publishing these out on the internet (both on my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/ericbtjr and my blog http://thewildriderhost.blogspot.com/) for any and all to see I would really like them to look great. To that end I would only want to use fully painted armies. They don't have to be golden demon or anything, a simple tabletop standard is fine, just so they look better than a field of grey/primered minis.

Secondly, proxy armies are really hard to keep track of in video batreps so I would ask that all models be WYSIWIG. Cool conversions and such are fine. In fact they are encouraged and may well be featured during the video, but lets save the 'all the Rhinos count as Razorbacks and the Valkarie is really a Storm Raven stuff for regular pick up games.

Finally, I will be posting the army lists used on my blog. For accuracy purposes I ask that you provide me with a copy of your army list when we play so I don't forget anything.

As far as it goes I would prefer that all games be at the 1850pt level as I would like to use the same list in all of them, but this is not a hard and fast rule and if anyone wants to play at a different pts level just get ahold of me and we'll work out the details. I would prefer that we try to set it up in advance so I can be as prepared as possible, but even if nothing is set up I will have my camera with me every week just in case.

I was just thinking that we need to start doing video battle reports at The Barn.

I'd love to get in on this but since I want to focus on my Dark Eldar this summer I won't have a fully assembled and painted army for a while. As soon as they're finished though we'll film the Dark Eldar vs. Blood Angels. Call James Cameron though. He may want in on this epicness.

I talked to brian a bit about this. I was going to make a "battlebarn" channel on youtube (I tried to start one a while back, but now its easier since we have an official name and logo). So lets delve into this topic a little more next time Im at th barn. Next weekend I think?

Certainly a Battle Barn channel would be pretty cool. I would still plan on uploading any reports I make to my own Youtube channel, but would have no problem with uploading them to both channels were we to do that.

1st report is finished and is being uploaded to my Youtube channel. As I type this. I will have it posted to my blog tomorrow and will be providing links (or possibly embedding if I can) in the battle report section then.

The second report is already 'in the can' as they say and will be posted next week. I would like to try to post one a week if possible so please let me know if you are interested.

Also, I have decided that since some people are working on new armies, may not have 1850pts done, or just may want to play at a different points limit that I am doing away with the 1850pts restriction. Any game of any size will do, but I am still looking for painted minis only.

Get ahold of me here or pm me if you are interested.

Ok, so the response has been great so far! I was able to get two games last week and I already have two more games scheduled for this Friday!

So that means that my dance card is a bit full for this weekend, but if you are interested let me know and we can get it scheduled for another time!

How to make sure you have plenty of games.

Step 1: get a camera
Step 3: profit

:)

How to make sure you run out of games quickly.

Step 1: comment on who many games you are getting
Step 3: ... profit?

Seriously though, I don't have any more batrep games scheduled and only one more ready to go. If anyone is interested in getting in a game let me know. Even if you've already been in one! Any points level is fine.

I'd like to, but my Dark Eldar aren't ready yet and my Space Wolves are in the middle of being re-done.

I got Orks v2.0 almost ready for combat. I'll be at the barn tonight if ya want to do a game Eric. The only downside is I have 3 unpainted orks now. But if your willing I'm sure the 3 unpainted guys can get "lost" in the other modles :P

I think we can figure something out. I happen to have a small allotment of painted orks in my possession at the moment. I'm sure a few of them wouldn't mind joining in for a Waaagh!

As it happens i will proly not be getting to the barn untill at lest 8 maybe even a bit later. I have used this time wisly to make my 3 orks at lest table top legal and give them shiny spiky bits so they dont look out of place. Just dont zoom in on them =P
