anybody know if a space wolf speeder squad can take more than one typhoon. as written it seems to me that the squad can only have one. army builder says the same, but that is not anywhere a straight answer. also after looking in the blood angels and codex marines books it is written differently. i know that doesnt mean anything either. i just would like to make sure.

From what I remember of how it's worded, I think you can only take 1.

thats what i figured but i was wondering if there was anywhere that cleared that up.

I think you guys are reading it wrong. The part that says "Alternatively a Land Speeder may be upgraded to a Land Speeder Typhoon..." is not saying only one can be upgraded. It's saying that as an alternative to being upgraded to a Tornado, you can choose to upgrade into a Typhoon. And because any Land Speeder can be upgraded to a Tornado, it follows that any Land Speeder can be upgraded to a Typhoon.
