The Battle Barn

I will be setting up a rockin' game of Space Hulk at the barn this Friday, July 9 around 9pm or so. Anywhere between 2-4 players can battle it out between the 4 major Space Hulk races:

Imperial Marines

Genestealer Cult Brood

Chaos Traitor Marines

Craftworld Eldar


I'm thinking about a Marine Vs Marine battle, if nobody else has a preference. See you at the barn!

Last week's game was an impressive multi-level deathmatch between the Genestealer Brood Coven played by OneTonBrute, and the Terminator Space Marines played by myself.

The map was extremely challenging for the Marines, as numerous ladders & pitfalls between levels allowed the 'Stealers to attack from literally all sides. As 'Brute was a new player to Space Hulk, he pulled together his wits, good die-rolling fortune and a little bit of coaching from me to lead the Brood Coven to a decisive victory over the Marines who were all 'sacrificed to the will of the Emperor' as it were. I was definitely sad to see my troopers perish, but they did get some fair licks in before they gave up the ghost.

Next game promises to be just as fun, so anybody interested leave open a few hours with it starting between 8:30 & 9pm...

Excellent game this week! It was two squads of Space Marine Terminators against the Genestealer Horde again. This time the map was a large single level of brutality and action. The Marines objective was to reach the other end of a huge map and cleanse a gene-seed room with fire from their heavy flamer. Wave after wave of genestealers and their hybrid mind-slaves ripped into the Marines ranks, killing several men. However the intrepid Terminators pushed their way through the Hulk, into the infested bowls wherein lay the target and managed to fire the winning shot while racking up an impressive kill-count of the deadly 'Stealer meance.

Special thanks to the Genestealer players, both of whom were 'Hulk newcomers.

The next game at the barn will be set up Friday the 23rd around 7pm. Come early to play early! This weeks game ran into the early morning and while I don't mind playing late, there is always the chance to play twice if we get started on time around 7 (Allowing the players to try both 'Stealers and Marines on the same map).

As always, games are available other days of the week at my house if anybody wants to connect for it. Message me.
