Deployment:
Tyranids win the roll to determine first turn and elect to go second.
Space Wolves deploy both units of Long Fangs, one on the far left of the board in a building and the other on the far right in some trees. Logan Grimnar is deployed with the Wolf Guard between the Long Fangs on the left and the center line of the board. Scouts are in Outflank.

Tyranids deploy the Mawloc in a building on the right side of the board and the Hive Tyrant on the left on a tree covered hill. The Genestealers are outflanking and the Trygon is deepstriking.

Tyranids do not attempt to steal the initiative.

Turn One:
Both meltagun Grey Hunter squads arrive via Drop Pod and deploy around the Mawloc.
Logan and the Wolf Guard move up towards the Hive Tyrant.
Both squads of Grey Hunters unload in to the Mawloc reducing it to a two wounds.
Long Fang squad B on the right fire five Krak Missiles at the Mawloc killing it.
Long Fang squad A on the left fire five Krak Missiles into the Hive Tyrant killing one Tyrant Guard and taking one wound from the second.
The Wolf Guard shoots at the Tyrant killing the last Guard and taking a wound from the Tyrant.

The Hive Tyrant climbs up on the hill and shoots its Heavy Venom Cannon at the Long Fangs on the left, killing one Missile Launcher.

Turn Two:
One squad of Flamer Grey Hunters arrive from reserve and deploy behind the Long Fangs on the right near one of the two objectives.
The Wolf Guard move towards the Tyrant.
Both Squads of meltagun Grey Hunters begin moving toward the center of the board. Squad B runs into a building and Squad A runs toward the center.
Flamer squad A runs into the trees containing the objective.
Long Fang squad A shoots at the Hive Tyrant reducing it to one wound and Long Fang squad B finishes it off.
The Wolf Guard, wary of the outflanking Genestealers, runs toward the center of the board.

Two broods of Genestealers arrive from reserve and outflank on either side of the board near both units of Long Fangs. A
brood of Zoanthropes also arrives and deploys on the right near Long Fang squad B.
The Zoanthropes fire Warp Blast at the flamer squad A killing two Grey Hunters.
Genestealer brood A assaults Long Fang squad A only killing one. The Long Fangs hold.
Genestealer brood B assaults Long Fangs squad B killing 4. The Long Fangs, again, hold.

Turn Three:
Both flamer squad B and the Wolf Scouts arrive from reserve. The Drop Podding Grey Hunters deploy near Long Fang squad B and the Scouts elect to arrive wherever they want and choose the right hand board edge near the Zoanthropes.
Flamer squad A moves around the trees toward the combat between the Genestealers and Long Fangs.
Meltagun squad A continues its move toward the left hand objective. While squad B shuffles around in the building.
The Wolf Guard turn around in order the address the Genestealers that arrived on the left but are too far away to help now so they elect to run towards the combat.
Meltagun squad A runs toward the objective on the left but only manage to advance a few more paces.
The Wolf Scouts fire at the Zoanthropes scoring a single wound.
Flamer squad A charges into combat with the Genestealers supported by the Scouts who have charged both the Zoanthropes and the Genestealers.
The Genestealers manage to reduce the Long Fangs to a single missile launcher but are whipped out by the Grey Hunters and Scouts. The Scouts also managed to kill one Zoanthrope and reduce the second to one wound.
The Long Fangs on the opposite side of the board didn’t fare that well and lost combat and fell back.

The Trygon and Warriors arrived from reserve. The Trygon appeared near the right hand objective. The Warriors attempted to drop near the left hand objective but their spore scattered off the board and JesseD rolled a 2 on the mishap table destroying the 9 Warriors and the Tyranid Prime, ouch.
Genestealer brood A
The Trygon shot at Flamer squad B killing three marines who then fell back.
The Scouts finish off the last Zoanthrope in combat.

Turn Four:
Both meltagun squads move toward the Trygon to help out the Grey Hunters that are close to it.
The Wolf Guard move back toward the center to fire on the Genestealers that just forced the Long Fangs off the board. The Grey Hunters near the right hand objective move towards the Trygon in order the give the beastie a big dose of shut the hell up.
The Wolf Guard opens up on the Genestealers killing several of them.
The flamer squads shoot at the Trygon but only manage one wound.
Both melta squads shoot at the Trygon but being out of range for the most part only one melta wound gets through. The Storm Bolters on the Drop Pods shoot at the Trygon doing nothing.
The Scouts blast the Zoanthrope’s Mycetic Spore with their meltagun blowing it apart.

The last brood of Genestealers arrives from reserve and is deployed near the left hand objective. The remaining Zoanthrope brood also arrives and deploys behind the Wolf Guard.
Genestealer brood A moves up toward the left hand objective.
Genestealer broods A and C run toward the left hand objective.
Zoanthrope brood B attempts to Warp Lance the Wolf Guard but score only one hit that fails to wound.
The Trygon assaults flamer squad A killing four marines who put a single wound on it. The Grey Hunters fail their morale check but are caught, sustaining a single no retreat casualty.

Turn Five:
Flamer squad B attempts to move toward the Trygon but get a miserable terrain role.
Melta squad A continues back toward the left hand objective.
Melta squad B moves toward the Trygon to help out their brothers stuck in combat with it.
The Scouts position themselves to charge the Trygon in the next turn.
Logan and his Wolf Guard wheel around to decimate the Zoanthropes that were foolish enough to shoot at him with their feeble psychic ability.
Melta squad A rapid fires at Genestealer brood C reducing them to five drooling aliens.
The Wolf Guard multi-charge the Zoanthropes and their Mycetic Spore, crushing them beneath their sheer, preferred enemy enhanced, awesomeness.
Melta squad B charges into Trygon who finishes off Flamer squad A. The Trygon is reduced to two wounds.

Genestealer broods A and C move toward the left hand objective and melta squad A.
Both Broods run toward and assault melta squad A. Brood A across open ground but brood C had to assault through cover, reducing their initiative. Brood A only managed to kill four marines. The remaining Grey Hunters put all the their attacks in to brood C killing them completely and winning the combat by one. Brood A failed their morale check and took one no retreat casualty.
The Trygon killed a five Grey Hunters from melta squad B who reduced the Trygon to a single wound. The Grey Hunters failed their morale test and were caught by the Trygon and then took another no retreat casualty.

Turn Six:
Flamer squad B and the Scouts move toward the Trygon.
The Wolf Guard move toward Genestealer brood A.
Flamer squad B and the Wolf Scouts charge into combat with the Trygon. The combined efforts of 15 marines and 5 scouts finally brought down the Trygon but not before it finished off its second unit of Grey Hunters. Flamer squad B consolidates on to the right hand objective.
The Wolf Guard assaulted Genestealer brood A, but before the xenos could be crushed they inflicted two more casualties on melta squad A.
Logan Grimnar, wanting to leave no evidence of the Tyranid force in his wake used his Living Legend ability granting every friendly model within 18” an extra attack, subsequently purged the battlefield of the remaining enemy forces.
Both the Wolf Guard and the remnants of melta squad A consolidate to claim the final objective.

Game Over.
Space Wolves win two objectives to none.
