First off I want to remind everyone that this Friday (10/7) is dues night at the Barn.

Additionally in an effort to continue to improve our dues process I wanted to make you all aware of a few updates.

First with the success of the dues sheet last month I have taken the opportunity to improve it. You can see the results below

Spoiler:

As this new sheet makes it easier to track payments you will now be able you to pay in advance or month by month. Just let me know when you pay if you want to pay in advance.

The second new feature is that I will be accepting of Paypal payments for Barn dues. This is completely optional and I will always accept cash however I do know that some would prefer the convenience of Paypal. Given the fee structure with Paypal however it gets a little a more complicated than cash.

For funds from Paypal balance or Bank Account a personal transfer of $5 will suffice.

For funds that are partially or completely from debit or credit card a personal transfer of $5.50 will be required. The extra 50 cents covers the Paypal fees associated with the transfer.

All payments can be made to mcconje@gmail.com and I will transfer the money into the Barn account. When making the transfer please make sure to include your name and month(s) you are paying for.

Thanks
Jeff

I was wondering if there ever might be able to see the barn account and how much money is being taken in versus the payments made.

Not a necessity...would just be nice to look at.

Actually that is something I would like to do in the future as well. I am just working through smoothing out the dues process before working on a way to make the finances more transparent.

At this point I am thinking about using a simple Google Docs spreadsheet that captures the information but I am open to ideas if anyone has any.

Well I do enjoy the dues sheet...it seems well put together and I look forward to the usage of such systems.
