The Battle Barn

Okay...so some of us/me specifically are already looking forward at the next tournament (because we/I enjoyed the last one so much)...and the idea of a doubles tournament came up so I wanted to get a general feel for how people would like this idea.

If you have any other tournament theme ideas...please post here as well.

I want a doubles event because it sounds fun for sure. I do however think it will take alot of talking and planning. It could be a pain in the butt to setup also. We should proly spend alot of time at the barn talking about how to do it.

Yeah, the doubles tournament does sound like alot of fun! I just don't want to wait 2 months

i would love to see rules similar to adepticon, but maybe let buffs affect your teamate only and only if you are both using the same codex. like a warlock using Conceal on his teammates rangers or a sanguinary priest using his Blood Chalice on his teamates Furiso dread....just a thought

More than likely they will almost exactly mimic Adepticon's rules for their team tournament, just without the 4man teams. So check out their rules to see how things like that are ruled.

There doesn't seem to be anything in the rules about this, so I'm thinking that if the team is a 'same codex' team, then their teammates abilities could affect their units, up to a point. Obviously, abilities will not stack (no +2 attacks if within range of 2 company standards or similar items). Obviously, abilities/wargear/psychic powers would follow the normal requirements of what they can target and such. But I really don't see it being any kind of an issue.

Just because it's on my mind...if anyone is interested in teaming up or generally to start list building...I would appreciate a PM.

Obviously I have many Grey Knights...Grey Knight Terminators...and any most any kind of Tyranid you need except for Trygon variants...
