necron FAQ is up

The new Necron FAQ is up on GWs website. It looks like ikt covers most of the major issues and managesd to not nerf the dex while its at it.

Also looks like most of the other codexs got some updates as well, but I haven't had time to check them out.

Actually looks like all of the FAQ's have been updated

Some of them of note that I found

Page 96 – Infantry Platoon, second sentence
Change to “Each Infantry Platoon is deployed in place

reserve or outflanking roll, roll once for the whole
Infantry Platoon. Any units in reserve that are
embarked upon a non-dedicated transport are instead
rolled for separately.

Oh sweet mother of Guard. Please tell me I read that right. The entire platoon (ya know, like 5 guardsmen for the PCS, 50infantry for the squads, 5 heavy weapons squads, 50 conscripts, and 2 special weapons squads) can be deployed during dawn of war? I am 100% okay with this.

Yea you read that right. Oh and don't forget about their dedicated transports.

Also I'd like to point out that, yes it is broken being able to deploy all of that at once. Even I must admit that.

Oh come on now, Guard has been in need of some serious help since the codex came out. It's about time GW threw them a bone :lol:

I agree. We should get a flyer model next and orders that actually do something.
