Adepticon should be your last effort. You've got almost 4 months till then so use it!
First get an accurate list of all the models you have to sell. As detailed as possible. Assembled, painted, wargear, etc...
Now you'll want to take pictures of everything. I can help you in taking nice looking pictures if you'd like. The camera on your phone usually just doesn't cut it. Divide everything into units when taking pictures. So a unit of say 15 gaunts. Maybe 5 warriors. 1 carnifex at a time. Things like that. You don't want so much stuff in the picture that it's difficult for the person to see everything on the models.
Once you have pictures and a detailed list, put them on the internet. Bartertown.com is a great site for getting rid of models, whether you want to trade them or just sell outright. I've had success on Dakka as well, and my Dark Eldar sold on 40kfightclub.com You want to get as many people as possible to see what you have for sale. When posting it for sale, you can list the whole thing as one large lot. It might be difficult to sell that way though, just considering the amount of models that you have. I'm not sure what they'd be worth, but selling 10,000 points of models in one lot probably won't be easy. So you may want to consider parting things out on a unit by unit basis. It's a bit more difficult and time consuming, but that's how you'll have the best luck I think.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
