When a Monolith Deep Strikes into the game can it fire the main weapon ? The Rule Book say "Vehicles Deep Striking count as moving at Cruising Speed". No vehicle weapons may be fired at cruising speed ( except fast & walkers )

Now the Necron Codex say in the Monolith entry "It's main weapon may be fired even if it has moved". For me since the Codex books over ride the Rule book the Monolith should be able to fire it's main weapon after Deep Striking.

I looked this up on the Mini War Gaming site, and Darl talks about this very subject ruling the Monolith may fire it's main weapon after Deep Striking since the Necron Codex say's so. Give me some feed back on what you think about this subject, until then I will be firing the main weapon after Deep Striking.

Thanks,
MYGUNZBURST

You are correct. If you choose to use the power matrix as a weapon, it may fire the particle whip no matter how far it moved, crew shaken/stunned, weapon destroyed, etc, etc, with the exception of the tank being destroyed.
