Hey,

I posted on the wall of a friend of mine from my last job. She knows my humor, and I know her humor. I posted "You smell funny. :P" Shortly after that one of her friends 'Jennifer' and 'Jennifer's husband started ripping into me telling me that I'm rude and immature, and they needed to defend my friend from rudeness. While I'm not going to dispute the immature part, the whole calling me rude thing pissed me off. So I did my best to inflate the situation and telling them that they have a stick up their butt and they are sticks in the mud and generally being a douchebag to these people because, you get what you ask for. I finished it off with continually telling them that they are deleted, which confused them (because neither of them were friends with me), and then they blocked me.

Am I wrong to think that, initially, they were the rude ones, sticking their noses into someone else's previously harmless joke? That WAS between me and my friend, correct? I didnt say anything to them. To add to the situation my friends only response to the comment was "Huh? The lady at the the perfume store said it was called Happy." (referring to me saying "You smell funny"). I was initially pissed off but now I cant stop laughing at the fact that I kept telling them that they are deleted. Please tell me that I was rightfully pissed off.

LOL, I just got a call from my friend. She's getting phone calls from these people about me and all she's doing is laughing at them and tell them that they shouldn't be so stuck up. The best part was that this 'Jennifer' was seriously upset that I "deleted" her, she had no clue how that was possible. That made me laugh.

LOL. I get the same response to some of my jokes. Hence why I am so quiet when I first meet someone. Once I know what there boundries are then I let em rip. (No I am not refering to Methane emissions  ) Your friends friends sound a little tight assed and maybe they are for a reason. Maybe your friend has been hurt in the past and they feel the need to protect her. In my case if I see someone posting stuff like you did I wait and see what the response is. Of course I know most of my friends well enough that I know pretty much what will piss em off. So yeah just keep laughing about it. That is the best revenge twords someone I think. Let em be pissed and get worked up...who cares. If they are such "sticks in the mud" you are better off without em. Your friend however sounds pretty cool so kudos to her for standing by her real friend. Bozo had it right...JUST KEEP LAUGHING!!!!!

Can this get deleted... This was more of a rant than a valid discussion topic.
