I see no reason to lock it up.

Todda continued to discuss his point, although valid, the Barn uses the quick solution of INAT. INAT says it is a 4+. Yeah I was a bit of a dick in how I said it, but what is said is said.

I have no problem with people debating in general...I just think this is one more item that cannot be decided by mere mortals.

We need the GW Gods to send down a ruling...because we all know they've been so helpful...right?

To me it's yet another topic upon which interpretation is key and multiple interpretations are valid and so no one conclusion can be reached...

I dislike circular arguments is all.

At this point, I suppose that all we can do is agree to disagree. It's obvious that there are two different ways to look at this issue, and both sides are vocal in stating that theirs is the correct interpretation. Until GW themselves add this question to their FAQ, it's up to gaming groups to decide how best to play this. As stated, we'll be playing it as a 4+ save since we like to follow the INAT.

In the future, let's try to keep things civil, especially in the rules forum here. Everyone can read a rule differently, and add their own interpretation too it. Not everyone follows the INAT, and they may wish to produce their own argument on why a ruling should be different. I have no issue with that, and they should be allowed to post such info as they desire. There are some areas that I disagree with INAT on, but over all I find it a useful document and am willing to take the bad with the good that it offers.

With all that said, I agree with Ductvader that this has become a circular argument, and I highly doubt any of us will change our current opinions, thus I am locking the thread.
