Hello all. With the upcoming release of the Deathwatch portion of Fantasy Flight Games' RPG's, I have been planning a Campaign for it. Im looking for some more players. Right now, I have 4 I believe, and we were looking to have about 6 or 8 total. So, if there is any interest, speak up and we'll get in touch.

Did you ever get a group together? I've never played but I'd be interested in trying.

Hi there,

Any update on how this is coming along? I think it would be really cool to try Deathwatch.

Thanks.

Its coming along. Adepticon prep has slowed it. After Adepticon, we should be ready to start. I'm trying to put a lot of thought into the development of the missions and what-not so it doesn't feel half-assed and thrown together.

Any thoughts as to what days/times we'll be playing. Friday and Saturday nights work best for me, as I can stay out late since I don't have to work. :)

Also should we roll characters before our first session?

Looking forward to it!

Amazingly enough, I may actually give this a whirl. Being a librarian and blowing shit up with my mind has a certain appeal to it.

Awe man, I wanted to do the Librarian! Actually I'll just fill any gaps and everyone else can play whatever they want. I'm half tempted to order the book today. It's $37 on Amazon but I don't want to order it until I'm sure I'll be able to play. I saw the book at Ryder's. It's pretty big.

Already claimed a leadership role. Someone has to keep you people in line. Yes, my character is already made (Dave made me do it months ago).

Well, the thing is, you select a leader based on the mission you are going on. You may wish to use different squad mode abilities so youll need to select a different leader to get those squad mode abilities. Build whatever you want to build, if we have 3 librarians, cool. If we have 6 tactical marines, also cool.

I could get into this as well...depending on which nights and how often you plan on playing.

Talked to Dave earlier. It looks like it'll probably be on Thursdays. We do not have a play to host the game yet. Also if you want to get involved you better volunteer quick before he shuts the doors on new applicants.

Yeah, you may have to count me out this round...too many time commitments as it is. Though it does sound really fun.
