I am pleased to announce that Brian is line for a promotion at the Polish hall. With the promotion Brian will have the ability to set the shift schedule for the bar tenders there. We are all very glad things are working out for Brian at the hall and hope they continue to do well for him.
However with this promotion comes with the realization that Brian will be working most Friday and Saturday nights preventing him from running Barn as he has in the past. As a result we are confronted with some hard choices as I would not be able to run the Barn solo.
Many options were discussed from closing the Barn and relocating to Cobblestone to ways others could assist me so the Barn could remain open. After a bit of discuss everyone agreed that they wanted the Barn to remain open and wouldn’t mind pitching in.
So here are the things that I need someone to manage for me.
- Closing the Barn – Mike V
- Running the domination table – Eric
- Barn Treasurer – Jeff M
- Bagging trash and putting it into trash dumpster (weekly) –
- Bagging pop bottles and returning them to store (weekly) – Eric
- Sweeping the Barn (monthly) – LunchMonkey
- Manage Barn concession sales (pop & what not) – Eric
- Assist with building a better ceiling for barn (Need 4-6) – Eric, Nate, Jeff
- Table coordinator. Someone to get our tables to look consistent –
I would like people to respond to this post and let me know what they would be willing to do. I will keep a list of who is doing what in the main post.
I appreciate everyone’s willingness to chip in and help out, without your assistance I don’t think I could keep the Barn going without it.
