Been toying with a list that I think would be more fun than effective. It's mostly centered around the idea of an air assault strategy.

The concept behind this list is kinda simple. Everyone is in a Vendetta and placed in reserve. Two of the squadrons will outflank pending on the need of the weapons attached. Meanwhile the last squadron merely comes in from reserve. Make the necessary drops and hold ground. The astropath is there to help get things in much sooner. Like I said not a great competitive list, but a themed one none the less. Shame I don't have the money or models to make this (lacking 6 Vendettas and 5 Melta Guns).

Thoughts on theme?

I love themed lists.. I've no idea what a vendeta even is.. but once I get 2000 points of tau, I'd gladly let you proxie anything you wanted for them.. I had a thought of making a Tau infantry army.. Lacking any crisis suits etc.. but my stupid list requires I take one Crisis suit commander.. I thought of taking 3 support systems on him and no weapons.. but am still anoyed to have to have him.. I think I have the only codex with 2 HQ choices, with one required..

Fight Tau again? Sure. If you want we can do a smaller sized game so I don't have to proxy as much. 1000pts should do.

I won't be at the barn this Friday since it's my birthday, and Jen wants to go out.. but next friday I'm available.. and at 1000 points, a battle would fit in well with the league size.. So if you are available then, lets plan on that.
