This is the signup list. Please post here if you are interested in participating. Any skill level/experience welcome. You don't need to show up every week to participate. Some ideas that I have are posted in the discussion thread.

I plan on starting it probably the first Friday in January (1/7/11) and it will end the Friday before Adepticon. Your army can change each week so don't feel tied down to anything. The only requirement will be that all models used have to be painted.

Please tell me that teams won't be determined until the first night of the league and that they will be drawn from a hat. This, in my opinion, will make things MUCH more interesting.

They will probably be determined on the first night, but I don't think I'll go the completely random route. I'd like to make the teams as balanced as possible to avoid the possibility of having a team of all newer players and a team of all vets. I may do something where team captains take turns picking players, or just assign people to a team that I feel is balanced. We'll have to see.

Right now things aren't looking good unless more people express interest. 5 people (6 including me if I can actually paint stuff) really isn't enough for what I had in mind. 9-12 people would really be the sweetspot.

If you really want to avoid people getting butt hurt and the possibility of a team of mostly consisting of vets then you need to assign teams based on balance. Also I am sure there is more interest at the barn itself. Not everyone gets on the forums like they should.

I'm very interested in participating, but to be honest, there are still holes in my 500 that need painted that I will not have ready for tonight.

This is actually last year's league signup Tielc.

There isn't really a signup for this winter's escalation league. It's more a 'show up and get credit' type of thing.

And don't worry about the painting. Even I won't have my 500 points ready tonight. You still have next week as well to gain credit though.

If my army doesnt sell I might get back into it. However with this said I am very noob in this, playing so It will take me a bit of time to get the hang of things.
