I haven't seen warlocks on foot in quite a while, so I'm interested to see how they do for you. The thing I noticed though, is that with such a small size, they will probably get one turn of doing something before being overrun. I'm assuming the farseer on foot goes with them, and that's only a 5 man squad that has to be within flamer range to do anything. That can be a very dangerous place to be.

Have you thought about running a seer council on bikes if you like the warlocks? They are a bit more survivable with better T and Save, and have good speed to them.

Also see if you have the points to swap out the missile launchers on the wave serpents into bright lances. You lose a little anti-horde, but being able to damage AV 13-14 from range is nice. More targets for people to deal with than the dragons in falcons.

I agree with Brian to point. Brightlances are going to be better against av13-14. You also don't lose much in the way of anti-horde (single small blast templates are NOT anti-horde!) Plus with the BL's being twin-linked they hit pretty reliably. The big problem is they cost waaay too much, and there's not really a whole lot of av13-14 running aroud to justify the cost.

Ill probably try bike council next week but for this week i just want to try out both foot councils and guardian jet bikes. I dropped both the under-slung shuriken cannon on the serpents and the star engines and with the points i freed up i was able to get the seer council to seven. figure if you fortune them the should be able to survive long enough to get the job done. bright lances are nice but they are pricey, i could probably fit them on the falcons, if i drop the squad size on the dire avengers to minimum.

Do not put brightlances on the Falcons. It's just too costly to put them on the falcons with only BS3.

The only places in the Eldar codex where Brightlances are realistic options are Wave Serpents and Wraithlords. Wave Serpents because they're twin linked and Wraithlords because they're BS4. Still overpriced on either option, but at least they'll be somewhat reliable compared to any other platform they can be put on.

Also brightlances aren't all that necessary since you're rockin' two squads of Fire Dragons. There isn't that much AV13+ out there that you usually won't see enough to require more than that. If the meta changes from the current trend of lots of low AV vehicles then you may need to reconsider, but otherwise it's just not needed. (Also your seer council can make short work of armor with all the singing spears and witchblades!)
