This Is a doubles list I have 1250 my friend has 1250pts of plasma, rockets, lascannons, and chainfists. My job Is to eat All infantry. Whether it is light or heavy.

My list So far.

1250pts


HQ Warrior Prime- 100pts
{Pair of Boneswords, Rending Claws, Adrenal Glands}

HQ Tervigon- 200pts
{Crushing Claws, Catalyst, Cluster Spines}

TROOP 4x Warriors- 200pts
{Lash Whip Boneswords, Rending, Adrenal}

TROOP 10x Genestealers- 170pts
{Adrenal Glands}

TROOP 11x Genestealers- 170pts
{Adrenal Glands}

TROOP 20x Genestealers- 386pts
{Adrenal Glands, Broodlord}

How many Warriors, Stealers, and Hormagaunts do you have?

Also...any sky slashers?

We're going to have to streamline this list a bit more.

How much of your friends list is infantry and how much is mechanized?

I have only about 5 warriors and a prime. about 40 genestealers. only 10 hormagaunts, and no skyslashers or rippers I have winged tyrants swarmlord tyrannofex 2 trygons, tervigon, 60 some termagants. 6 raveners. deathleaper. 1 zoan :S .

My friend is using assault termies (5) normal termies (5) Librarian to go with 20 man stealers, 2 devastator squads, land Raider and maybe predator and other stuff.

I would personally skip the warriors...they are in too small a number to get anywhere and live...It's a points sink without effect.

I like the idea of dual Tervigons backing 40 stealers and as many broodlords as possible.

6 Raveners with spinefists is worth looking into as well.

Doom of Malan'tai is your ultimate troop killer...but he is hit or miss

Assuming you have the Crushing claws modeled? I personally don't like them but I guess they could be a good Dreadnought deterrent.

Not sure if you want cluster spines either...I generally don't like putting those low BS large blasts near my own fragile units. But I guess it might be better too have for just in case purposes.

Your general plan will be to infiltrate and catalyze...while your friend opens up the boxes in front of you.

you have those 2 points to put the invaluable scything talons on the broodlord.

I think you have a fairly solid anti troop list with AT capabilities.

The Doom...hit or miss...some games it will fizzle out and others it just won't die.

I could take the claws off but I like the idea of an extra D3 attacks. I also prefer the blasts because they are range 18" I can hurt guardsmen real bad with them... I could try cluster spines on one and stinger on the other.

I would keep them both actually...it's not often you'll get much effect out of the other gun...Better to have ones you might actually use even if you dont...its free so it works.

You could lose those claws for the doom spod to have a gun...seeing as it's a MC it can fire its tentacles and the gun...on the turn it arrives too...real nice to make your opponent look at it...I like the barbed strangler on Doom spods...pinning + Doom ability...bank.

The list Did fairly well. The only problem was 1st round we face 5 Land Raiders and 5Terminator squads with a Grey knights guy who had terminator troop choices. All in all we killed 3 or 4 terminator squads and destroyed all the weapons off of one Landraider immoblized three others and destroyed heavybolters on a couple more. We did not even come close to being ripped to pieces the only problem was that they parked their land Raiders over the Objectives

We also came in 7th out of 20 which is MUCH better than last time (16th / 17th)
