HQ
-Farseer (Doom; Singing Spear)

ELITE
-5 Fire Dragons
---Wave Serpent (TL Shuriken Cannons)

-5 Fire Dragons
---Wave Serpent (TL Shuriken Cannons)

-4 Striking Scorpions
---1 Striking Scorpion Exarch (Biting Blade)
-----Wave Serpent (Shuriken Cannon; TL Shuriken Cannons)

TROOP
-5 Dire Avengers
---Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers)

-5 Dire Avengers
---Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers)

1000/1000

Trying to build up my mech and keep some flavor in there at the same time. I eventually want to veer away from Avengers and get more Storm guardians but they fit easier in smaller point games with their cheapness.

How's it look?

Striking Scorpions at this point are there for personal preference, Infiltrating the Serpent, and taking out units that have been whittled down by massed S6.

I am starting to like Autarchs more and more but Farseers seem to offer more at this point.

This is a pretty strong list. That much AV12 is going to be difficult for most opponents to deal with at 1000pts. At lower points Eldar can still pack quite a punch! The problem is finding a 1000pt game with any regularity :(

If a Bright Lance wasn't 45 pts...

Well the problem is relying on two squads of fire dragons for your AT. I'm sure having at least on on the battlefield (on a non-fire dragon wave serpent) would be a good idea.

I don't doubt that a bright Lance might be useful...The only real way of getting one is by dropping the Scatter Laser down to a Shuriken Cannon on one Avenger Serpent and losing the Biting Blade on the Exarch...which isn't a bad trade actually.

Just means one Dire Avenger squad has to get a little closer than I am comfortable with at this point in my experience.

The 15 TL S6 and 3 normal S6 shots also add to pretty decent AT...especially if you're looking at massed DE AV10 or a few MEQ AV11 hulls.

Here...slight change. Lances don't fit. Missiles fill the same or a better role as Dragons are best suited for the AV13+ anyways.

HQ
1 Farseer (Doom)

ELITE
-5 Fire Dragons
---Wave Serpent (TL Shuriken Cannons)

-5 Fire Dragons
---Wave Serpent (TL Shuriken Cannons)

-5 Striking Scorpions
---Wave Serpent (TL Shuriken Cannons)

TROOP
-5 Dire Avengers
---Wave Serpent (TL EML)

-5 Dire Avengers
---Wave Serpent (TL EML)

1000/1000
